Terms of Service

Effective June 13, 2026

The short version

  • By using ComputeSphere, you agree to these terms.
  • You're responsible for your account, your content, and using the platform lawfully.
  • Paid plans are billed in advance (flat per team + per spherelet) via Stripe; cancel anytime.
  • The service is provided “as is,” and our liability is limited.
  • These terms are governed by Texas law.

This summary is for convenience — the full text below is what governs.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ComputeSphere’s websites and platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you’re using ComputeSphere for an organization, you’re agreeing on its behalf and confirming you have authority to do so.

2. The service

ComputeSphere is a cloud platform for deploying and running applications — compute (spherelets), storage, networking, and operational tooling. We may add, change, or remove features over time to improve the platform.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, be at least 18, and keep your credentials secure. You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the actions of team members you invite.

Notify us promptly at support@computesphere.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use ComputeSphere to:

  • break the law or infringe others’ rights;
  • send spam, malware, or run phishing or fraudulent operations;
  • attack, overload, probe, or disrupt the platform or other users;
  • mine cryptocurrency without our prior written approval; or
  • resell or expose the platform in a way that competes with it.

We may suspend or remove workloads that threaten the platform’s security or stability.

5. Your content & responsibilities

You own the code, data, and content you deploy on ComputeSphere. You grant us the limited rights needed to host and operate it for you. You’re responsible for your content, for having the rights to use it, and for complying with the laws that apply to it — including how you handle your own users’ personal data (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Plans, billing & payment

Paid plans combine a flat plan price per team with a fixed price per spherelet you run. Fees are billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe) and, unless stated otherwise, are non-refundable. You authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal until you cancel.

Prices may change; we’ll give notice before changes take effect. You’re responsible for any taxes other than taxes on our income.

7. Free trials

We may offer a free trial. Unless you cancel before it ends, the plan converts to a paid subscription at the then-current price. We may change or end trial offers at any time.

8. Cancellation & termination

You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues through the end of the paid period. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or create risk for the platform or others. After termination we may delete your content after a reasonable period — export anything you need first.

9. Availability & changes

We work to keep ComputeSphere available and reliable, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, and will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect you.

10. Our intellectual property

ComputeSphere, including the platform, software, and brand (such as “ComputeSphere,” “Spherelet,” and “SphereStor”), is owned by us and protected by law. These terms don’t grant you any rights to our marks or software beyond using the service as intended.

11. Third-party services

The platform integrates third-party services (for example sign-in providers and your connected repositories). Your use of those services is governed by their terms, and we’re not responsible for them.

12. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ComputeSphere will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify ComputeSphere against claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform and the law evolve. When changes are material, we’ll update the effective date above and notify you where appropriate. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
